Cabana Restaurant Branding & Menu Design

Cabana is a Latin restaurant in Portland, ME specializing in Latin-American dishes. The buildiing itself is notable as it is a small store front in quitel litterally the middle of Middle Street in Downtown Portland. When designing the brand we wanted to pay homage to it’s Latin roots while also celebrating its place in the city. I took the neon approach as the inside of the restaurant had a lot of moody and neon lighting, and I also deigned a logo featuring the building’s silhouette. Add in a straight forward menu design tying in the Latin feel of a resort as well as some retro styling, and this branding was a true representation of the restaurant’s roots while celebrating it’s lively atmosphere.
